FAQ
Short answers on accounts, wallets, cards and coverage.
Is Fan Payments a bank?
No. Fan Payments is a programme name for business payment services. The licensed provider, how CAD is held, and the client terms are set out in the agreement issued at onboarding.
Who is the service for?
Incorporated fan sites, cam sites and agencies. We acquire settlement of their processing receipts and run mass payouts to creators. Individuals do not open retail accounts. Creators are onboarded by the platform that pays them.
What does a business account do?
It is the operating account for payroll, receivables, local payments in local currency and overseas cash flow.
How do payout wallets work?
Wallets are a disbursement tool. The business client onboards recipients and funds the wallets. Recipients can hold the balance, send it to themselves or spend it on a card. This is not a consumer bank product.
Do you issue cards?
Yes. Business clients can issue branded prepaid, gift or debit cards — physical and virtual — under their programme, with spend controls for employees, customers or recipients.
Which regions and rails are in scope?
Canada: Interac and EFT. United States: ACH, Fedwire and wire. United Kingdom: Faster Payments (FPS) and CHAPS. EU/EEA: SEPA and SEPA Instant. Local payments also in Latin America, Asia, Japan and Turkey. Cross-border: wire / SWIFT. Availability follows the client programme.
Do you pay in crypto?
Yes. The programme can pay creators in supported crypto and convert collected balances to or from assets including USDT and USDC. Pairs and corridors follow the client programme.
How do I apply?
Describe your flow on the contact page. There is no self-serve retail signup.
